Roy Reid pris le nom de 'I-Roy', copiant ainsi le style même du créateur de l'art du deejay, U-Roy (inventeur du rap moderne?), c'est un deejay avec de l'âme : catégorisé comme "sing-jay" sur l'île de la Jamaïque. Ses toasts sont incroyablement drôles et mélodieux, du freestyle sur des sujets variés et pertinents tels que le cinéma, le ghetto, les courses-poursuites, la morale, l'éducation... La musique : du top classe roots reggae du milieu des années 70, mixé par Errol Thompson et King Tubby. La version CD contient deux bonus tracks, dont une version du "Talking Blues" de Bob Marley & the Wailers.
