DJ résident du Macumba, à Noeux-Les-Mines, DJ Guarana est le fils spirituel de DJ Shadow. C'est du moins ce qu'il affirme. Personnalité manifestement maniaco-dépressive, nous n'avons pas voulu le contrarier, et reproduisons ces lignes telles qu'elles nous ont été transmises par son attaché de presse :

"DJ Guarana est sans aucun doute ce qui vient d'arriver de mieux au monde de la musique. L'ignorer, c'est ignorer que le monde évolue, et que sans Dick Rivers, point de Jesse Garon. Resident DJ of the Macumba Club in Bummerhead-on-Thames, Dj Guarana is Dj Shadow's spiritual heir. At least, that's what HE says.
As he's obviously suffering from a maniac-depressive personality, we did not want to oppose him, and reproduced these lines such as they were transmitted to us by his PR :
