Teebs is a producer and visual artist from Flying Lotus’s Brainfeeder camp. His debut album, Ardour is coming out this year, and it is a cracker. With a melodic, icy feel to his tracks that recalls the snow-capped atmospherics of Hauschka and Yagya as much as it does his peers like Flying Lotus, as well as a gorgeous cover painted by the man himself, it looks likely to be one of 2010’s most satisfying sleeper hits. Fact Magazine are premiering the lead single from the album, Why Like This?, right here right now – the full single will be released on October 4, and the album on October 18.
