If Paris DJs' connection with Austin, Texas, runs deep, there's also a lot to say about the one we've always had with Brighton, UK. One day, we'll produce a track or a remix with the 8-piece hip hop/reggae live band King Porter Stomp from over there. It's just meant to happen, they're too cool and original… In the meantime, the band is putting out tunes relentlessly, and their productions keeps on getting better everytime, which is always a very good sign. They recorded this new stepping reggae/hip hop monster at The Levellers' studio, got it mixed by one of the best soundmen out there, Prince Fatty, also from Brighton, and managed to get a dub version from the legendary Nick Manasseh. Self-released on their own Feet Up Records label, the single is available digitally and on a limited 10 inch vinyl EP. You've been warned.
