The original Soul/Funk track Moody Blues was engineered by Lotek at his Counter Clockwise Studios in Melbourne, Australia, who posted a stripped-down version on Soundcloud, with just guitar and Florelie Escano on vocals, asking is some remixers were interested. We managed to connect and Grant Phabao ended up producing this suprising and breezy Reggae/Afro/Blues remix which you'll find on Florelie's upcoming limited CD out october 17th 2012.

'Moody Blues' Single Info :
"MOODY BLUES" has a Soulful, Funky and Big Band sound reminiscent of the 60s. This song doesn't just apply to women! Men get moody too! This song is about not fully understanding the swings we all go through from time to time! "THE LIBERATING KIND" is a song about my own personal freedom. It's about breaking out of a rut and about establishing a new life to reach my full potential. I wrote this when I was working in a bank where I felt trapped and unappreciated. Writing this song gave me that little bit more courage to believe in music (my first love), get my shit together and then leave a place where I didn't belong.
