Soenke Duewer's cinematic jazz project, Ensemble du Verre, is back with brand new line-up and single, Emily's Poem, which will be followed by a full length album, A Green Meadow, to be released in May. The label is a small one from Hamburg, Germany, called Batterie, and we've been supporting them for a few years now.
This new single navigates in Bonobo or Cinematic Orchestra's waters of seductive and fresh lounge jazz electronics, with a leftfield remix by Netherlands producers/DJs Rupert & Mennert. A joyful jazz release leaving us wanting for more. Someone should definitively book this band for a few gigs in France!
